BLUFFDALE, UT— Michelle Shimizu has joined Listen Technologies as the regional sales manager for the audio solutions manufacturer. In her role, Shimizu will manage the company’s six western independent representatives and dealers in the AVSC sales channel. She will travel throughout the western US and Canada working with dealers and representatives on Listen’s five solution categories: assistive listening, tour group, language interpretation, soundfield, and conferencing.
“Michelle comes to us with an extensive background in the audio visual industry. In fact, most recently she was a Listen representative covering Southern California,” said Mark Merrick, director of sales for Listen. “Her experience in the field coupled with her understanding of the Listen brand will be the key to her successful management of the rep firms in her region. Prior to joining Listen Technologies Corporation Shimizu was the owner of Westside Audio Sales (now the SG Group), a sales and marketing manufacturer representative company for Southern California and Southern Nevada.
