Da-Lite's Matt DuBois Attains LEED AP Certification6.06.2008WARSAW, IN--Matt DuBois, CTS, Da-Lite Screen Company Sales Consultant, has attained the LEED AP certification. The LEED AP certification is awarded through the U.S. Green Building Council, a 501 non-profit community of leaders working to make green buildings accessible to everyone within a generation. USGBC is dedicated to expanding green building practices and education, and its LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Rating System. "Matt has always set a high standard for himself and obtaining his LEED AP accreditation is the next step in his professional sales career," commented Blake Brubaker, vice president of sales, Da-Lite Screen Company. "LEED AP distinguishes the professionals with the knowledge and skills to successfully steward the LEED Certification process and helps not only our audio visual dealers, integrators and consultants, but the architectural community as well," continued Brubaker. LEED" APs facilitate the integrated design process and streamline the LEED Certification process. LEED AP accreditation will strengthen Da-Lite's qualifications when responding to RFPs requiring LEED APs and provides additional consultative resources for green building as it relates to the company's products when architects are preparing to design and build a LEED project. As more and more Da-Lite Sales Consultants become LEED" AP accredited, the company's eco-friendly initiatives are reinforced. In 2008, Da-Lite launched its new Screen Green Exchange Program, attained multiple levels of GreenGuard certification for its projection screen fabrics and recently obtained ISO 14001:2004 registration for its Environmental Management System.
