Omnimount Promotes Hal Truax To Director Of Commercial Division6.19.2008PHOENIX, AZ--OmniMount announced the promotion of Hal Truax to the position of Director, Commercial Division. The promotion comes on the hinges of a dedication to adhering to OmniMount's global sales strategies as set forth by the ascension of Alex Robertson to the position of senior vice president of sales for the U.S. and International markets at the end of last year. "I am pleased to announce the promotion of Hal Truax to the position of Director of OmniMount's Commercial Division," said OmniMount president Geoff Miller. "This promotion is in recognition of a three-fold increase in our annual commercial business over the last three years and for Hal's contribution in general to strategic business planning and product development," Miller added. Truax, who has been with OmniMount since May 2005, served as the general manager of the company's commercial business prior to his promotion. He will continue to manage OmniMount's commercial sales team and actively participate in product development. In his new role, Truax will lead the commercial sales efforts in addition to cultivating OmniMount's growth and brand recognition within the professional market. "I'm thrilled to accept the challenge of expanding OmniMount's presence in the commercial market," said Truax. "In my time with the company, I've seen exponential growth across the board-from product development to brand awareness-I'm eager to help continue that positive trend in any way I can." Prior to joining OmniMount, Truax was the director of custom installation for The Good Guys where he developed a custom install business for the chain. In this role he also was in charge of training sales associates company wide on this subject.
