New Product Marketing Manager for Bosch Conferencing Systems AMEC8.28.2008Bosch Communications Systems is pleased to announce the appointment of Kees Geerts as product marketing manager, Conferencing Systems AMEC. With Geerts' appointment, Bosch reinforces its activities in the AMEC region for their Public Address and Conferencing Systems Business Lines, which are a part of the Bosch Communications Systems Business Unit. Geerts is based at Bosch Communications Systems HQ in Burnsville, MN, and began his new position in August, 2008. Geerts and his wife moved to the U.S.A. from the Netherlands, and now reside in the downtown area of Minneapolis, MN. "I'm delighted to join the team at Burnsville," says Kees, "and look forward to the continued growth of our Conferencing Systems Business Line in the Americas." When Bosch Security Systems acquired Telex Communications, Inc. in 2006, an opportunity to share products and sales channels was created: "By using the experienced sales channels of the previous Telex Communications, we can focus and grow our Public Address and Conferencing business substantially in the Americas," Kees adds. As product marketing manager for Conferencing Systems, Geerts will utilize expertise gained from four years spent working with Bosch's unique Conferencing Systems, and in particular his direction of the building of interfaces between Product Managers located at Bosch headquarters in Breda, the Netherlands, and the Telex South American and Regional American Sales Team. In 2000, Geerts received a promotion with Philips CSI to become product manager (PM) for Radio Paging and Personal Security Systems. Shortly after earning this managerial position, a part of Philips CSI was absorbed by the Bosch Group, making Geerts an employee at Bosch Security Systems.
